| Overview: |
| The HAZWOPER standard governs health and safety for three classifications of workers: emergency responders, hazardous waste operations workers, and TSD workers. After workers in each classification have received their basic training, they must receive annual refresher training. This course is designed to meet the qualifications of each category. Subjects taught include the use of the NIOSH pocket guide, DOT guidebook, respirator selection, and recent changes to pertinent regulations. General site workers, supervisors, fire department officials, and safety directors will find this course interesting and informative. |
